The Super Sky Cycle
Here’s another photo taken at the same time as the one before, and in between the two gyroplanes marked for law enforcement operations, one marked "Police" and the other marked "Sheriff", you can see the tail boom of another aircraft (N-number 203FD). Although this aircraft is a Monarch Butterfly gyroplane, it bears a Super Sky Cycle logo on its vertical stabilizer. This photo was taken in 2011, during the optimistic time when the Super Sky Cycle was being promoted more heavily than it was later and at about the same time when Butterfly LLC was beginning to position itself as “Aerial Surveillance LLC”, emphasizing a marketing push toward the law enforcement community.
Look more cloely at the gyroplane sitting in the foreground, the one marked "Police". Notice on the seat of this Aurora gyroplane the helmet with metallic blue ear muffs, stars on the visor, and a decaled “SSC” (for Super Sky Cycle). Perhaps in conjuction with the company's marketing push toward law enforcement, the Super Sky Cycle could have promoted as a motorcycle cop’s dream.
