The Events Calendar

by Ira McComic

With a new year just underway, I’ve added a new information aid to the LightSportGyroplanes website: an Events Calendar. It’s an easy-to-view collection of events and other activities related to gyroplanes.

If you turn your eyes up to the menu bar, you’ll see “Events Calendar.” By clicking on that link, you can view the calendar. The default view displays events by month and you can scroll back and forth to past months and future ones. If you choose, you can view events by week (on the calendar, click on the “Week” tab) or to view events in list form, click on the calendar’s “Agenda” tab.

In the monthly view, each event is highlighted for a chosen month on the day(s) of the event. To learn more about a specific event, click on its highlight and a pop-up box will show you not only the date(s) of the event, but also the location, often with a link to view that location with Google Maps, a handy aid for those of us who are perpetually lost, or to use the politically correct term, “locationally challenged.”

Unless indicated otherwise, times are shown based upon the US Central Time zone.
